Crime Prevention Commercial Applications provides students with the skills necessary to deliver comprehensive security and loss prevention services to the commercial public. This course is designed for crime prevention officers, community oriented policing officers and security personnel. During the five-day (40-hour) course, participants receive instruction on credit card fraud, worthless checks, bank security, robbery prevention, robbery reaction, hotel and motel security hardware, access control, construction site security and commercial security surveys. This course is one of three courses necessary for the Florida Crime Prevention Practitioner designation.
