| Course Description: |
When a suspect provides a statement concerning an incident, do you know the “flags and tips” to determine its authenticity? This new course details the identification of areas of deception in statements, through the study of the conscious and subconscious behaviors of the deceptive subject. The “Kinesic process” involves the identification and understanding of physical changes in the subject’s writing style, changes in body language and speaking. Law Enforcement Officers will be fascinated with the psychology of the process and will pick-up tips to use in their own investigations. Participants are encouraged to bring ‘statements' they can use as practice in applying this technique.
This new two-day class will be taught by Glenn Foster, a former Atlanta police officer and polygraph examiner. He is an internationally recognized interview and interrogation specialist, who is the originator of the highly regarded "Kinesic Interview & Interrogation Technique." Those who would benefit in attending this class are: investigators, detectives, school resource officers, and other law enforcement officers. |
