During this three-day (24-hour) course, participants will focus on helping businesses and crime prevention professionals, investigators and law enforcement managers to recognize deviant behaviors in the workplace. Understanding why employees engage in certain deviant activities is the key to stopping them before they act. Topics will include: organizational and interpersonal deviance, ethical theory, moral versus conditioned honesty, generational considerations, psychosocial factors, reciprocal and parallel deviance, and creating a culture of integrity. The course will also cover early identification of disruptive behaviors; how your employees impact behaviors; non-verbal messaging (right and wrong things to do); and verbal messaging (right and wrong things to say). Participants will gain skills to formulate directives to effectively deal with disruptive behaviors and potential violence in the workplace.
