This two-part presentation discusses online, and mobile applications commonly used by predators to contact and groom children for sexual contact. It examines electronic means for gifting and provides resources and suggestions to victim service providers assisting caregivers and survivors of online child exploitation. The presentation will also provide information regarding all aspects of bullying, including cyberbullying and sexting, as well as their affects. In addition, the course will focus on identifying bullying behavior, the legal implications, and best practices in serving victims of bullying. There will also be an opportunity for those in attendance to ask questions and discuss available resources.
All 8 hours for this course may be used towards FCPTI Victim Services Practitioner Renewal Requirements
