This course will be held at the Crowne Plaza Fort Myers at Bell Tower Shops, 13051 Bell Tower Drive, Fort Myers, Florida 33907. Course Description:
This three-day course (24 hours) is designed as an update for those who completed the 40-hour Victim Services Practitioner Designation course. The Update course provides new information on the legal rights of crime victims, such as Marsy’s Law, discusses the concept of restorative justice and advocacy through the victim compensation program.
*Students must attend all three days in order to receive a certificate of completion. Course attendance fulfills the Victim Services Practitioner Designation renewal requirements **Course topics are subject to change.
