Course Description:
Crime Prevention Commercial Applications provides students with the skills necessary to deliver comprehensive security and loss prevention services to the commercial public. This course is designed for crime prevention officers, community oriented policing officers and security personnel. During the five-day (40-hour) course participants receive instruction on bank security, robbery prevention and reaction, CPTED for hotels and motels, employee theft motivation, retail theft, security hardware, electronic access control, use and placement of CCTV's, construction site security and commercial security surveys.

* This course is one of three courses necessary for the Florida Crime Prevention Practitioner designation.
