Human Trafficking: A-Z is a one-day (8 hour) Law Enforcement Officer-only course that covers the basics of Human Trafficking Investigations from inception to prosecution. It answers the question “What is Human Trafficking,” defined in both State and Federal Law. Students will know signs and indicators of Human Trafficking, how to deal with victims (short term and long term), undercover operations as it relates to Human Trafficking, and investigative resources. Students will also learn how to arrest traffickers, and how to prepare a case for prosecution. In addition, the course will cover how to investigate illicit massage parlors, the role they play in the commercial sex industry, financial aspects, and RICO considerations.
