The Convenience Store (C-Store) Inspector Update course is designed for individuals who already possess the C-Store Inspector designation. This two-hour “webinar” provides the attendee a refresher course on the basics of C-Store inspection procedures, the violation process and a touch of Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) for convenience businesses.
Webinar participants will have the ability throughout the class to ask related questions (via text box) or share notable challenges they have encountered regarding convenience businesses. In addition to the enforcement of the Convenience Business Security Act, information pertaining to the use of city and c-store ordinances will be discussed.
Upon completion of this course, attendees will be given instructions on how to forward a passport type photo and the required information needed for their updated Convenience Store Inspector Identification card. The new I.D. card and course completion certificate will be forwarded to the attendee upon completion.
*This course fulfills the renewal requirements for the Convenience Store Inspection designation.
