Course Description:
The Florida Crime Prevention Practitioner (FCPP) Update course is designed for individuals who already possess the FCPP designation. The three-day (24-hour) course provides new and updated information on electronic technology, various crime prevention programs to include, but not limited to; telemarketing, cyber crimes, transient criminals, and other relevant topics. The course provides a share session, which gives participants the opportunity to present new and innovative programs or challenges they have encountered in their communities. The course content continually evolves during the year to ensure attendees receive the most updated crime prevention information. This course fulfills the renewal requirements for the Florida Crime Prevention Practitioner designation. This course does not count towards any CPTED or Victims Service Designation Renewal hours. Course topics are subject to change.
